Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative IT Director to lead our technology initiatives within the fragrance industry. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, driving digital transformation, and ensuring that technology solutions support business objectives. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of IT best practices within the fragrance sector.

Job Key Performance Areas:

Strategic Technology Planning:

  • Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with business objectives, leveraging technology to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

  • Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to the fragrance industry and assess their potential impact on business operations.

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and telecommunications systems.

  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations and data integrity.

Application Development and Support:

  • Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of business-critical applications, including ERP systems, CRM platforms, and e-commerce solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to prioritize development projects and support ongoing application needs.

Data Management and Analytics:

  • Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of corporate data.

  • Implement data analytics tools and techniques to derive actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Cybersecurity and Risk Management:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect against internal and external threats, including malware, phishing attacks, and data breaches.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks to IT systems and data assets.

IT Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity.

  • Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and controls to promote compliance and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Vendor Management and Budgeting:

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants, negotiating contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal value and performance.

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and operational needs.

Core Competency Framework:

Knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with professional certificate in project management, Master's degree preferred.

  • Broad knowledge of the current industry standards and requirements, excellent knowledge of information technology functions, systems, programs and procedures.

Skill:

  • Over 12 year’s relevant experience in managing IT projects with reputable large organization.

  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles within the fragrance industry or a related trade field.

  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data management.

  • Excellent experience of project management, business analysis, architecture and application development, planning and execution of the long-term IT technology strategy.

  • Experience programming in .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, C/C++, X++, XML. Experience with SharePoint, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflows creation.

  • Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.

  • Experience with SharePoint application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services

  • Excellent Presentation Skill, effective communication with Stakeholder, report writing, fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic an advantage. Negotiation skills, Strong relationship management skills.
