 Position Overview

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing strategic plans, policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by Maa al-Thahab in Turkey and its competitors, and identify potential customers.
  • Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products. 
  • supervising the complete operations of the fragrance line to ensure a high level of sales and customer satisfaction through extensive product knowledge and outstanding sales plans and customer service in Turkey.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales and marketing team in Turkey to achieve job expectations
  • Develop and lead the execution of the marketing and sales strategies of the company in line with company objectives in Turkey.
  • Set and enforce policies and procedures necessary for conducting sales and marketing operations. 
  • Identifies marketing opportunities in Turkey by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share in turkey.
  • Plan and coordinate campaigns for the marketing and sales of products/services
  • Establish sales targets and assign sales quotas to sales teams
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities/performance of sales teams in Turkey for better output
  • Develop and implement action plans necessary to enhance the public perception and image of the company in Turkey
  • Collaborate with the HO Marketing department on the design and publication of advert materials and ensure the right message is passed across to the target market in Turkey
  • Collaborate with other company departmental heads to implement strategies effective for achieving set sales and marketing goals
  • Prepare and present to management periodic reports on sales/marketing activities in Turkey
  • Work closely with the HO Marketing Department and assist with new product launches in Turkey.
  • Developing and maintaining a productive long term relationship with the customer
  • Manage the stores of the company in Turkey.
  • Identify new opportunities and/or locations, conduct cost/benefit analysis, report outcomes to management and advise in the final decision of selecting new locations in Turkey.  
  • Review and analyze inventory and sales records in Turkey to prepare reports for management and budget departments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or above degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or in a related field 
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and sales, with a minimum of 3 years at the managerial level. 
  • Experience in perfume companies is a desirable advantage.   
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Turkish is the mother tongue
  • Fluent in English 
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
