 Position Overview
The accountant reports directly to the Account Manager. He/she is responsible for handling the accounting, tax, finance, and bookkeeping in our head office in Istanbul
Responsibility

• Substantiates financial transactions.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
• Overseeing the accounting business tax in Turkey.
• Following up with the Financial accountant for related monthly closing.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor degree in accounting
• 2 years of experience in Finance
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent in Turkish
• Good in English
• Detail-Oriented
• Good command of MS.
