Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts within the fragrance industry. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth across diverse market segments. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of success in sales management, a deep understanding of the fragrance market, and a passion for driving results.

Job Key Performance Areas:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the fragrance industry.

  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats to inform sales strategies and business decisions.

Sales Execution:

  • Lead by example in driving sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, customer acquisition, and deal closing.

  • Provide strategic direction and support to sales representatives to optimize sales performance and maximize customer satisfaction.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders in the fragrance industry.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product innovation and market differentiation.

  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and go-to-market strategies.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to support sales initiatives and maximize ROI.

  • Monitor sales forecasts, pipeline trends, and financial performance, taking proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to drive performance excellence.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

Core Competency Framework:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the fragrance industry or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to achieve ambitious goals.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Deep understanding of fragrance market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
